The Agen racecourse is ideally located at Passage d'Agen, 300 meters from the airport, 600 meters from the motorway exit and 4 km from Agen train station. Crossroads of the departments of Gers, Landes and less than 1h30 from Bordeaux and Toulouse it is an essential site in Lot-et-Garonne.

This trotting and galloping racecourse with a capacity of 2,000 seats has several tracks:

• a pink sand trotting track of 1200m with a straight line of 320m
• a 1350m grass gallop track with a 370m straight line
• an obstacle course

Various services are at your disposal: panoramic restaurant open every day, snack bar, private boxes, behind-the-scenes tour of the racecourse, visit of the arboretum...
Reception rooms are available for hire for congresses, seminars, group meals or exhibitions….

The Agen racecourse hosts 26 race meetings per year (i.e. more than 200 races) including 10 national meetings during which our site is in the spotlight of the Equidia channel with broadcasts in the 11,000 PMU points of sale in France. We organize events in the 3 racing disciplines which are the trot, the flat and the obstacle. Created in 1850 in the town of Passage d'Agen, initially at the "Mestro", then at "La Garenne" since 1973, the racecourse is an institution in the Agenese conurbation.

Today classified as a National Pole and ranked 11th out of the 235 French racecourses, it is one of the main racecourses in France and regularly receives the best professionals of the moment.

Renowned for its races but also for the many theme days organized simultaneously, our racecourse has the recognition of institutions and regularly receives financial support from the Agen Agglomeration Community and the town halls of Agen and Le Passage, generally at the opportunity for investment, but also through partnerships which allow us, for example, to highlight the different municipalities of the agglomeration during the races.

Installed in a green setting of more than 20 hectares, equipped with an arboretum presenting more than 200 species, it offers a friendly atmosphere and a magical atmosphere for an unforgettable and convivial outing with family or friends.
