    • Located in the countryside, halfway between the walled towns (Bastides) of Villeneuve-sur-Lot and Monflanquin, the restaurant La Pierre Blanche welcome their guests in a verdant environment. The establishment is located on the outskirts of the village of La Sauvetat-sur-Lède, the ideal place for a gourmet getaway.

Marie-Laure, cooking, claims a southern cooking that she has gradually perfected through her long years of experience in Lyon and in Provence. She stays very demanding as to the freshness and quality of her ingredients that she considers as jewels making her plates beautiful.

A fantastic place to stop and have a great meal. Well worth the drive if you are in the region. A great patio to sit at during the evening and the food was excellent. This has been one of the best meals I have had in France.

We arrived quite by chance, lunch time New Year’s Eve .. just driving around the countryside. We were surprised it was open and so welcoming. The menus is interesting and a very good wine list. But it is the cuisine that is the brightest star here. . I had Étouffe de chevreuil ( braised deer ) seasoned with shallots and a little red pepper and served with purée de carottes and pruneaux.. excellent. My husband had to begin, a homemade terrine de sanglier.. boar .. also excellent. For his main he had home made ravioles filled with crab. Delicious. And then the tate aux pommes was wonderful.. I had the cheese selection .. again excellent. We will come back and always recommend this lovely place for lunch.

The portions concentrate on quality not quantity and each dish was beautifully presented and delicious - the main course fish and rabbit were delicious. The chef came out after we had finished our...

Many restaurants close outside the summer season and we were the only lunchtime customers in January. The chef really looked after us and produced exceptionally well presented and invented meals. The...

This little restaurant-with-rooms is set in the heart of French gastronomy. The rooms are simple, but perfectly adequate for the price, clean, comfortable and lots of hot water. Breakfast is simple...
