The Agen racecourse is ideally located in Le Passage d'Agen, 300 meters from the airport, 600 meters from the motorway exit, and 4 km from Agen train station. At the crossroads of the Gers and Landes departments, and less than 1 hour and 30 minutes from Bordeaux and Toulouse, it is an unmissable site in Lot-et-Garonne.

This trotting and galloping racecourse, with a seating capacity of 2,000, has several tracks:

• A 1200m pink sand trotting track with a 320m straightaway
• A 1350m grass gallop track with a 370m straightaway
• An obstacle course

Various services are available: panoramic restaurant open daily, snack bar, private boxes, behind-the- scenes tour of the racecourse, visit to the arboretum...

Reception rooms are available for hire for congresses, seminars, group meals or exhibitions….

The Agen racecourse hosts 26 race meetings per year (more than 200 races), including 10 national meetings during which our venue is featured on the Equidia channel, with broadcasts available at 11,000 PMU outlets across France. We organize races in all three disciplines: trotting, flat racing, and steeplechasing. Founded in 1850 in the town of Le Passage d'Agen, initially at "Le Mestro" and then at "La Garenne" since 1973, the racecourse is a landmark in the Agen area.

Today classified as a National Hub and ranked 11th out of 235 French racecourses, it is one of the main racecourses in France and regularly hosts the best professionals of the moment.

Renowned for its races but also for the many themed days organised simultaneously, our racecourse has the recognition of the institutions and regularly receives financial support from the Agen Agglomeration Community and the town halls of Agen and Le Passage, generally on the occasion of investments, but also through partnerships which allow us for example to highlight the different municipalities of the agglomeration during the races.

Set in a green setting of over 20 hectares, with an arboretum featuring over 200 species, it offers a friendly atmosphere and a magical ambiance for an unforgettable outing with family or friends.
