    • Located since Antiquity in a populated area, Pomarède as it stands today was built in the 17th and 18th centuries.
According to family records of the time, Pomarède was "a grand and beautiful Master's house with large adjacent buildings dedicated to farming the land, the whole surrounded by trees, ironwood and elm groves".
In 1681 Minister Lambert Daneau, and his brother-in-law Squire Etienne Dupré, bought Pomarède. Sold in 1793 as a property nationalized under the French Revolution, it was repurchased in the middle of the 19th century by Paul Dupré de Pomarède, who handed it down to his descendants, thus ensuring continuity within the family over 11 generations.
Pomarède was listed under the Supplemental Inventory of Historical Monuments in 1969

Open 14th July to 1st September, and by appointment off season
Entrance 5€ (free for persons under 18) - 3€ (if with a group of more than 10)
