  For a weekend getaway to celebrate a friend's wedding, we stayed at the Manoir de Blanche Haut. The place is truly magnificent! From booking to departure, Véronique and Thierry were perfect in every way: always available to answer our questions, and very accommodating (we had to cancel our lunch reservation at the last minute). Our stay was wonderful; we would have loved to stay longer! Our room was beautiful and comfortable, with a particularly spacious bathroom. We also enjoyed an aperitif by the fire, a candlelit dinner prepared by Thierry—a real treat featuring local products—and a generous breakfast with freshly laid eggs: a delight! A wonderful place to remember!

  Véronique’s and Thierry’s bed and breakfast is exceptional. We stumbled upon Manoir Blanche Haut one evening and had an inconceivably elegant and sophisticated stay. Given that we did not have the pleasure of one of Thierry’s dinners due to a recently consumed, large lunch, it is a testimony to their superior hospitality that we still rate our experience as highly as the other 5 star reviewers. On a cold, dark, November night they made their living room into the most beautiful picnic spot with bread, cheeses, charcouterie and wine on a table cloth in front of a roaring fire. The house has beautiful communal rooms, imaginatively furnished to make you feel as though you are at home in your own chateau. The bedroom suites are individually laid out and each one is both charming, intimate and contemporary. This is not a musty old house repurposed for today, but an elegant restoration of a beautiful structure intended to be comfortable, welcoming, and exciting for today’s travelers. The grounds are extensive, rural farm lands, with plenty of room to explore. There will be a pool by summer of 2026. Town is not far away, but this property feels delightfully remote and quiet. Day trips to the many Plus Belles Villages of France are easy to accomplish from Blanche Haut as a base of operations. Beyond all of this, however, is the graciousness and charm of the hosts. Their attention to details, and their obvious love for opening their home to guests makes one feel as though you have good friends in France whom you’ve come to visit. In previous lives they ran restaurants for decades, so they are absolute specialists in providing exactly the level of attention and experience to make each individual’s experience perfect.
