Located in the heart of southwestern France, the Bergerac Duras vineyard stretches on both sides of the Dordogne river, with an enclave in Lot-et-Garonne for the country of Duras. With unspoiled and authentic nature, it is a veritable showcase of biodiversity where the wines fully express themselves and, like Cyrano, with a certain panache.

In this little corner of paradise which combines the best of the South-West and Périgord, the artisan winemakers express all their know-how and their deep respect for their environment, through a range of 7 unique terroirs, 5 colors and 17 appellation wines. Proud, endearing and welcoming, they are ready to open their doors to showcase their estates and the Périgord Attitude which carries high the values ​​of “eating well” and “drinking well”.

A vineyard at the top of biodiversity!

In Bergerac and Duras, the winegrowers and other players in the area have become aware of being the guardians of nature. It offers them both a living environment and a working tool, and will remain the heritage they are committed to passing on to future generations. So, together, winegrowers and citizens are multiplying practices for a territory that is ever more respectful of its environment. In Périgord Agenais, the transition mode is more than engaged and is progressing at high speed. More than 50% of farms are certified in an environmental approach (AB or HVE).


Quai Cyrano, gateway to the vineyard

A true flagship of wine tourism, this new Maison des Vins, open since July 2019, brings together in one place, a tourist reception area and the wine house, along with a wine bar, all with a view impregnable and with 360 ° on the old port and the Dordogne.
Figurehead of the Bergerac vineyard, Quai Cyrano reflects the values ​​of quality and conviviality of the 7 great appellations and illustrates the dynamism of its vineyard to which it pays homage. It bears witness to the fact that the city owes its wealth to wine-growing activity and has prospered since the Middle Ages. It faces the iconic port which overlooks the Dordogne, now listed as a UNESCO Biosphere Heritage. Inside, the courtyard of the Cloître des Récollets dating from the 17th century offers a true haven of peace.

Quai Cyrano is also a whole wine area with a shop with more than 160 wine references to discover and available for sale. Here, the 7 great terroirs of the vineyard are represented with 165 referenced estates and 4 Cooperative Cellars. Diversity then!
