Stroll through beautiful gardens

Gardens are perfect places to enjoy the spring floral revival. In the gardens, we walk, we relax, we let the children run around and we appreciate the tranquility of these places where nature is magnified. Here are some ideas for beautiful gardens to discover.

Latour-Marliac, Le Jardin des Nénuphars is a remarkable garden in Temple-sur-Lot , which offers a truly original and sumptuous stroll among 300 varieties of rustic water lilies and various water plants. You will walk over 2.5 ha of park. At the moment, it's the flowering of the Irises, then in May the flowering of the water lilies, from June to October you will appreciate the tropical and giant plants.

The Parc du Moulin des Tours , is open all year round and public, it is located in the town of Nérac. Close to the Moulin des Tours and a river, it is a place full of tranquility. There is a beautiful view of the Pont de la Barbaste and gourmets can take a picnic with them and enjoy wooden tables to have a feast.

Open all year round, with free entry, the medieval Garden of Buis qui court (note the pun !) is in the town of Sainte-Colombe-en-Builhois. Maintained since 2005 by volunteers, therefore enthusiasts, it is pleasant to walk there.

In Pont-du-Casse, the Darel Botanical Garden offers visits all year round to discover this plant space located in the town's old tile factory. A tour route and educational panels await you.

Les Jardins de Mireille in Auriac-sur-Dropt offer a magnificent collection of roses, old, rustic, colorful, fragrant... A wonder !

La Jardinnerie Jay in Marmande is a really nice place ideal for family walks. Sale of plants and careful staging, to make you want to take up gardening too. 8000m2 of plants of all kinds !

A little more patience, from May, you can visit the Moulin de Cocussotte, in Saint-Pierre-sur-Dropt, a very beautiful garden (and also a gîte and a guest room) run by a enthusiast of plants, “ Country Raconteur ”.

Tourist places in the middle of greenery

In Laffite sur Lot, go see the farm and the Pruneau Museum. To discover the profession in the orchards in spring, it's ideal! And of course, taste products made from prunes, the traditional small crumpled fruit from Lot-et-Garonne, tasty and good for your health.

In Saint-Sylvestre-sur-Lot, come and enjoy some family time in a magical place, a gigantic mini golf course with animals carved from boxwood! On 4700m2, the Stelsia mini-golf is a place of constant wonder.
