Boat trips aboard the Wakaï barge
Moored at Mas d'Agenais, near Marmande and Agen and just 1 hour from Bordeaux, the Wakaï barge welcomes you on board for wonderful outings: day trip or cruise over several days, let yourself be carried away along the water on the Canal de Garonne and the Garonne.

We offer several formulas:
• Day trip: embark around 10am for an unforgettable day in a natural environment. Come and relax in the shade of the majestic plane trees and take advantage of the navigation to discover the Canal de Garonne, the maneuvers for the passage of a lock and why not the Nordic bath on the terrace deck... Come and discover this century-old barge classified today 'hui BIP (Boat of Heritage Interest). We will tell you its story during the navigation, since its construction in 1925 until today. At lunchtime, we offer a meal with flavors of the Southwest. Resumption of navigation after lunch for a return scheduled around 5 p.m.
Capacity: maximum 12 people.
Price: 120€/person.
• Cruise on the Canal de Garonne: from 2 days/1 night, we offer you a totally different experience because you will only be 6 people on board in the 3 cabins on this boat. If you come as a group of 6, with family or friends, we offer you a private cruise by establishing a tailor-made program to best suit your desires, your interests and the time you have available. If you are only 2, you will share this adventure with 4 other people on pre-established programs from 2 days/1 night up to 5 days/4 nights. One of them will allow you to discover one of the most beautiful works of the Canal de Garonne: the canal bridge which spans the Garonne at Agen.
Capacity: maximum 6 adults (with possibility of adding 1 child).
Price: 2-day/1-night cruise from 389€/person.
• Rembrandt cruise: from 3 days/2 nights, we offer you an exceptional experience. Let yourself be carried away by a sublime cruise between the Canal and the Garonne river which will take you from Mas d'Agenais to Bordeaux, or vice versa. You will discover the charming village of Mas d'Agenais with its laundries, its halls... without forgetting the Saint Vincent collegiate church which houses a nugget: a painting by Rembrandt dating from 1631 representing Christ on the Cross. You will sail on the Garonne before reaching Bordeaux. You can then wander around this charming port city, in the heart of the wine region.

Price: 3-day/2-night cruise from 599€/person.
Outside the summer season, we welcome you in:
• Bed and breakfast: at the Mas d'Agenais, unusual accommodation for a single night awaits you under the plane trees, on the edge of the greenway. Let yourself be invited to travel in one of the 3 cabins of the Wakaï barge. They will bring you comfort and well-being for nights in an atypical setting. Each cabin is equipped with a double bed (or twin for one of them), a private bathroom with toilet, a hair dryer, slippers and bathrobes as well as organic soap for the respect of environment. For complete relaxation, you can (with supplement) take advantage of the Nordic bath on the terrace and a table d'hôtes to awaken your taste buds to local flavors. To complete the offer, electric bikes are available for hire to cover part of the greenway.
